About the Artist:
As a kid, Steve Rice spent most of his spare time – and plenty of time he couldn’t spare -- chasing fish in his home waters of South Florida. Whether it was collecting tropical specimens for his aquariums, angling for gamefish or catching dinner, he was always preoccupied with the beauty and drama of fresh and saltwater species.  

A self-taught artist, Steve works in many media, often experimenting and combining materials and techniques. Over the course of nearly four decades, his art has appeared in magazines, brochures, postcards and is in private collections around the world.
